The Fitness Center PEP Program for Golfers

Get proven results! The Fitness Center Personal Enhancement Program (PEP) gives you greater strength and endurance which means more club head speed and greater distance on your drive. It also gives you better stamina on the course to finish strong and reduces your risk of injury and downtime due to stronger muscles, tendons and ligaments.

GOLF CONDITIONING PROGRAM DETAILS

A program completed by Wayne L. Westlott, Ph.D.. consisted of 12 Nautilus strengthening exercises as well as stretching exercises. The research subjects trained 3 days per week for a period of 8 weeks. At the completion of the exercise program, the participants recorded a significant improvement in their driving power. Their maximum club head speed increased by 6 percent (5 mph), even though they did not practice golf during the 2 month study.

For tennis players who want to improve their game, The Fitness Center’s Sports Enhancement Program will help to strengthening the upper and lower body and core exercises. Because of connective tissue issues with shoulders for tennis players it is important that we strengthen connective tissue and add strength without bulk.
